🎯Career guidance – choosing a profession or a path to a career? Our education seekers are looking for answers in practice!

Second-year students of the specialties “Commodity Science and Logistics” and “Entrepreneurship and Trade” of the Higher Educational Service “UTEFK DTEK” visited a career guidance excursion to the Uzhhorod branch of the Transcarpathian Regional Employment Center.

The group was accompanied by: • Ruslana Ignatko — Deputy Director for Educational Work, Iryna Pop and Inga Dvorovchyk — teachers.

Acting Director Yosyf Kazhmir told the students about the work of the center, conducted a meaningful tour, and presented the “Voucher for Study” program, which opens up new opportunities for professional development. Special attention was also paid to the activities of the “Made in Ukraine” office.

Real opportunities with McDonald’s: inspiration from practitioners!
During the career orientation visit, the students were particularly interested in meeting with the director of McDonald’s, Oleksandra Osiyska.

Ms. Oleksandra spoke frankly and inspiringly about what it’s like to work at McDonald’s from the inside — without embellishment, but with great respect for the people and values ​​of the company. She shared her career path: from the first step in the establishment to a management position, emphasizing that McDonald’s truly opens doors for young people, regardless of experience.

Students learned about:

• flexible schedule – the ability to combine study and work
• career growth – a system of promotions, internal training and support from mentors
• motivational system – awards, bonuses, discounts and rewards for initiative
• supportive atmosphere – a team where personality is respected, not just results

After the meeting, students actively asked questions, were interested in employment conditions, the schedule, and the possibility of an internship.
